TURBAT: One laborer was killed and his brother sustained injuries after unidentified gunmen opened fire in the Khalilabad area of Dhannuk, Turbat.
According to police sources, the victim, identified as Waheed, son of Abdul Karim, died on the spot, while his brother, Habib-ur-Rehman, was wounded in the attack.
The victims, residents of Khidrani Mohalla in Kardgap, Mastung, were working on a water boring project in the area when the incident occurred.
The assailants managed to escape the scene following the shooting.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter to determine the motive behind the attack.
