Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind has made significant revelations regarding a disturbing viral video showing the brutal murder of a man and a woman.
He stated that the Chief Minister of Balochistan has taken immediate notice of the incident and has ordered swift action.
According to the spokesperson, the location of the incident has been identified. Preliminary investigations suggest that the tragic event occurred during the days of Eid-ul-Adha.
However, the affected families have not filed any formal complaint regarding the matter.
Shahid Rind further revealed that the government is registering a case on behalf of the state.
Data of the individuals seen in the video has been obtained, and NADRA is assisting in identifying the suspects.
Within 24 hours, one suspect has already been arrested.
He assured that the investigation will be carried through to its logical conclusion, and raids are ongoing to arrest the remaining suspects.
The spokesperson emphasized that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in the murders or any unlawful jirga, and no external pressure will be tolerated.
Shahid Rind also mentioned that the recovery of the bodies is still pending, an FIR is being registered, and full enforcement of the law will be ensured.
It is worth mentioning that a couple was shot-dead in the name of honor killing in Baluchistan. The couple married one and a half years ago but the family of the girl found them and they were brought to a vast place for killing.

The family invited the notables of the tribe and the couple was brutally killed in front of some 17 people.
