QUETTA: The Inspector General Balochistan Police Muazam Jah has been removed from his position.
According to a report by a news outlet, The Balochistan IG Police Muazam Jah has been removed from his position and a 21 Grade officer Mohmmad Tahir has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Balochistan Police.
Mohammad Tahir has been serving his KPK. This appointment will be applicable until the next order.
The establishment division has issued the notification of the transfer of Muazam Jah and the appointment of Mohammad Tahir.
The sources claimed that the appointment came as part of routine administrative changes and was seen as an important development for the province, where the police force continued to face significant challenges in maintaining law and order.
It is worth mentioning that this is a crucial move keeping in view the ongoing the law-and-order and the internal security situation in Balochistan.
In the recent few months, a horrible rise of Indian-backed militancy has been observed in Balochistan.
The RAW-sponsored militants have been launching attacks on the armed forces and the innocent civilians in Balochistan.
