ISLAMABAD: A metro bus traveling from Islamabad to Rawalpindi caught fire on Saturday, though no casualties were reported, authorities said.
According to the Metro Bus administration, the fire erupted suddenly in the vehicle’s engine and quickly spread through the bus.
Officials said the bus was not carrying passengers at the time of the incident, preventing any loss of life.
Rescue teams and technical staff reached the site immediately and launched firefighting operations to contain the blaze.
