ISLAMABAD: The Met Office has forecast rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms in several parts of Pakistan, with unstable weather expected in the coming hours.
In Punjab, rain with gusty winds is likely in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Chiniot, and Faisalabad, particularly during the night.
Thunderstorms and heavy rain are also expected in Jhelum, Gujar Khan, Mangla, Hafizabad, and Mandi Bahauddin. Mianwali, Khushab, Noorpur Thal, and Sargodha may also receive rain accompanied by strong winds.
In Balochistan, most districts are expected to remain dry with partly cloudy skies. However, rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds is forecast in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, and Qila Saifullah.
Similar weather conditions are likely in Nushki, Sherani, Musa Khel, Loralai, Harnai, Zhob, and Barkhan.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, rain is expected in Gilgit, Skardu, Chilas, Astore, Hunza, and Bagrote.

Parts of Azad Kashmir, including Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Poonch, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur, may also experience strong winds, thunderstorms, and rain.
