ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for their successful operation in North Waziristan, where they foiled a terrorist attack on a police checkpoint and neutralized three Fitna Al Khawarij terrorists.
In this sense, the Ministry of Interior shared a statement, the Minister mentioned that the quick and professional response of the security personnel not only foiled the nefarious designs of the attackers but also safeguarded the lives of many civilians in the region.
“The security forces displayed exceptional professionalism and timely action, eliminating three terrorists and protecting the nation from a major tragedy,” Naqvi said.
Furthermore, the Interior Minister also paid rich tribute to Police Constable Nizamullah, who got martyrdom while bravely confronting the attackers. He said the supreme sacrifice of Constable Nizamullah would always be remembered as a symbol of dedication and courage in the line of duty.
“Shaheed Nizamullah fought the terrorists with great courage. We salute the brave sons of the soil who crushed the evil designs of the Fitna Khawarij terrorists,” the Minister remarked.
Moreover, Naqvi reasserted the government’s resolve to continue decisive action against terrorists and their facilitators, stressing that the sacrifices of the country’s security personnel would never go in vain.
“The entire nation stands united behind its security forces. The sacrifices of our martyrs are the foundation of a peaceful and secure Pakistan,” he stated.
