ISLAMABAD: Pursuant to the directives issued by the Supreme Court, the government has initiated the process of transferring prisoner number 804 to a hospital.
The government has consistently respected court orders, treating the inmate strictly in accordance with the constitution and the jail manual.
The prisoner has been provided with two blocks, an air cooler, a mattress bed, attendants, a personal cook, and rich meals including desi chicken and whole goats, alongside newspapers, books, and facilities fitting his status.
Regarding medical treatment, the best possible care has been administered in strict compliance with the jail manual.
Critics point out that political agitators and digital commentators have historically undermined the law and bypassed written court guarantees.
The court has explicitly instructed against gathering crowds outside the hospital, staging spectacles, or engaging in political rhetoric, leaving it to be seen how long these groups will adhere to these written assurances.
The Islamabad Police IG reviewed security arrangements at the facility, resulting in the closure of all surrounding access routes, while vehicles parked outside the hospital were cleared using lifters.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan‘s sister Dr. Uzma and personal physician Dr. Faisal Sultan entered through the outer gates of Adiala Jail.
Conversely, police stopped his sister Aleema Khan and cousin Qasim Khan at the jail’s main entrance.
PTI central leader Shaukat Yousafzai appealed to party workers via social media to cooperate with the authorities by refraining from gathering at the hospital to allow smooth medical procedures for Imran Khan.
Medical doctors inside Adiala Jail have already completed their comprehensive medical checkup.
Shortly, Imran Khan is scheduled to be transferred to the hospital via an ambulance.
Administration officials at Shifa Hospital have likewise completed all necessary arrangements required in the event of Imran Khan‘s admission.
