QUETTA: IG FC Balochistan (South) chaired a key meeting of the Chagai District Coordination Committee with senior officials from the district administration, police, and other government departments.
The meeting reviewed public welfare, law and order, eradication of poppy cultivation, healthcare and education services, and the performance of open courts and local jirgas in addressing community issues. Officials also assessed the repatriation of Afghan refugees, progress on development projects under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI), and the overall regional security situation.
During the session, IG FC Balochistan (South) praised the committee’s coordinated efforts, including the rapid and dignified repatriation of Afghan refugees, poppy eradication initiatives, and timely execution of BSDI development projects.
He instructed all relevant officials to strengthen inter-agency coordination and collaboration to ensure lasting peace and stability in Chagai.
