LAHORE: Pakistani actress and model Huma Saleem has leveled serious allegations of harassment against an unnamed national team cricketer and hinted at taking legal action against him.
In a statement shared on her Instagram story, Saleem wrote, “During this difficult time, I want to expose a cricketer who has crossed all limits of deception, fraud, character assassination, and harassment.”
Without disclosing the player’s identity, the actress added, “I have had no contact with this cricketer for the past two months. Yet, whenever I try to move forward, he subjects me to mental torment.
No woman would willingly risk ruining her social reputation unless she has been pushed to the absolute limit.”
She further claimed that her legal team would soon expose the cricketer’s actions, alleging that he has been engaging in questionable activities in hotels using Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) funds.
Detailing the extent of the harassment, Saleem wrote, “This cricketer has tried to damage my reputation by sending messages to me, my family, and even my friends.
I endured this harassment while we were together, and when I started working, he continued to defame me by messaging my colleagues. All of this has been orchestrated by him and his family.”
She concluded by reflecting on the toll of the relationship: “Despite being in a painful and toxic relationship, I remained silent.
However, my tolerance has now reached its limit. Every story has two sides.
He is deceiving people and defaming me, but I will soon bring forward all the evidence against him alongside my legal team.”
