Gold prices surge across Pakistan on sixth consecutive day

LAHORE: Gold and silver prices in the local market continued to rise for the sixth consecutive day.

Amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, gold became more expensive in both global and local markets. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs 3,400, reaching Rs 539,962. The price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 2,915 to Rs 462,930.

Today, the price of silver per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs 192, reaching Rs 9,286.

In the international gold market, gold per ounce remains stable above $5,000, where it rose by $34 to $5,172 per ounce.
