Gold Prices in Pakistan Over the Past Two Months

Over the past two months, gold prices in Pakistan have experienced significant volatility, driven by both fluctuating international bullion trends and local currency dynamics.

Between late spring and mid-summer, the domestic market saw frequent shifts, with per tola rates oscillating significantly as global safe-haven demand reacted to shifting macroeconomic indicators and geopolitical tensions.

Local jewelers note that while domestic rates closely mirror international ounce movements and exchange rate adjustments, purchasing power has faced continuous strain.

Investors and buyers have closely monitored these weekly peaks and troughs, as bullion remains a primary hedge against inflation despite the high market threshold.
