QUETTA: FIA Balochistan has launched a major operation against the smugglers involved in human-trafficking and six people have been arrested.
According to the details, The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) Balochistan Zone has arrested six members of a smuggling group involved in human trafficking.
The group arrested from several areas of Quetta also include Afghan nationals.
The spokesperson of the FIA Balochistan Zone has also confirmed that the three out of the six arrested persons are the Afghan nationals.
Three mobile phones have been recovered from an alleged Adeel Ali which carry chats about the human-traffickers, photos and other significant evidences.
Sanaullah and Abdul Khaliq were arrested from the Airport Road on the indication of captured Adeel Ali.
The group was operating as drivers for the movement of the Afghan nationals.
It has been further disclosed that as many as 11 coloured photographs of the identity cards were recovered from Sanaullah’s custody.
The photographs were being utilized for the shifting of the Afghan nationals to the various parts of the country.
The arrested persons disclosed that they work for the smuggling gangsters Abdul Hadi and Mohammad Essa.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, the captured persons have been shifted to FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Quetta.
A legal proceeding is being carried out against the gang. Fugitive suspects are being raided for arrest.
It is worth mentioning that human trafficking has been a larger challenge in Balochistan for the past many years.
Most of such gangs are led by the Afghan nationals who have been involved in numerous criminal activities in Pakistan.
This is why it has become unavoidable for the security institution to carry out a timely repatriation of such outlaws.
If left unnoticed, such figures can cause more trouble and difficulties for sustaining peace and law-and-order in areas across Pakistan.
