KHARAN: In a successful operation on Wednesday, the Pakistan Army eliminated four militants from the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA)—which it refers to as ‘Fitna-Al-Hindustan’—in the remote Lajai area of Kharan district, according to the military’s media wing, the ISPR.
The ISPR stated in a press release that during a routine patrol, security forces observed suspicious movement and launched an operation in the tough, mountainous terrain. A heavy firefight ensued, resulting in the elimination of all four militants.
Two Pakistani soldiers were injured in the clash and were transferred to a nearby military headquarters for treatment. Following the engagement, additional troops were deployed to the area, and a search and clearance operation is underway to secure it completely.
Last week six prominent Fitna al Hindustan commanders have been killed by the security forces in Zehri.
This ‘quiet blast’ has completely ruined the mainstream of the Balochistan Liberation Army.
This is reported to be the biggest loss for the BLA in this area so far.
The area of Zehri is engulfed with the skirmishes sinch summer.
Indian sponsored militant group depending on the aid from across the border had made Zehri as Semi-Safe Corridor.
In the month of August and September, the BLA had carried out attacks on the check-posts, Installation of bomb on the sides of the road, and sudden offences together.
an intelligence-based clearance operation on September 25. In the mountainous region of Zahri, a rare confrontation unfolded—one that combined traditional guerrilla tactics with advanced military technology in a way few could have imagined.
According to sources, the operation was planned in two majors but highly coordinated phases.
The first target was the BLA’s command and control system, which relied heavily on modern communication tools.
Several days before the operation, military drones had already identified the group’s radio repeaters and satellite phone hotspots in the area.
When the offensive began, airborne jammers immediately disrupted the organization’s entire communication network, while ground forces swiftly moved in.
