QUETTA: Security forces have continued Operation Radd-ul-Fitna to eliminate militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan in Balochistan, security sources said.
According to the sources, security forces killed two militants during a successful intelligence-based operation in the Washuk district’s Plantak area.
The sources said the militants were involved in terrorist attacks on the Mashkhel Police Station and Customs House.
During the operation, security forces also destroyed the militants’ vehicle and recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from the bodies of the slain militants.
According to security sources, the recovered weapons and ammunition were intended for use in targeted killings of unarmed Baloch civilians and other terrorist activities.
Security forces will continue operations until the complete elimination of Fitna al-Hindustan militants from Balochistan, the sources said.
