Six Dead in Balochistan Incidents

QUETTA: In Khuzdar, a tragic traffic accident near the Wadh Bazaar on the RCD Road resulted in the deaths of four people and left three others severely injured after two Mazda trucks overturned while trying to save motorcyclists near the under-construction Wadh University.

The deceased and injured were shifted to Wadh Hospital, with the injured later moved to Khuzdar for further medical treatment, and the bodies dispatched to their respective hometowns—including Musa Khel, Quetta, and Wadh—while local authorities registered a case and launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, in Panjgur, the bullet-riddled body of an unidentified person was recovered from the Gwargo area and transferred to a hospital morgue for identification as police continued their inquiry.

In a separate incident in the Goth Rahija Muhamdani area of Jhal Magsi district, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire with Kalashnikovs, killing a local mosque prayer leader (Imam) identified as Ghazi Khan, a resident of Qambar Shahdadkot, Sindh.

Police and DSP forces rushed to the scene, transferred the body to the Rural Health Center, and gathered evidence to initiate an investigation into the shooting.
