KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested three members of a banned organization in a targeted operation in Karachi.
According to CTD sources, the arrested individuals have been identified as Sameeullah, Imran, and their accomplice.
The suspects were involved in financing terrorists and were linked to the banned outfit Fitna-e-Hindustan. They were reportedly planning a major terrorist attack.
Weapons and other incriminating evidence were recovered from their possession.
A case has been registered against them under the Anti-Terrorism Act, and further investigation is underway.
