QUETTA: The District administration has ordered the officials to intensify the crackdown against the illegal Afghan citizens in the provincial capital.
According to details, Commissioner Quetta Division Shahzeb Khan Kakar has chaired an important meeting to review actions against illegally residing Afghan nationals in Quetta.
Deputy Commissioner Quetta Capt. (R) Mehrullah Badini, Assistant Commissioner Political Quetta Division Kaleemullah, officials from Police, FIA, NADRA, Special Branch, PTA, Home Department, and other relevant institutions were present in the meeting. Deputy Commissioners of Qilla Abdullah and Pishin, as well as SP Pishin, joined online.
During the meeting the participants were briefed that joint operations by Police, FC, and the administration have so far resulted in the repatriation of over 30,000 illegal Afghan residents.
It was noted that coordination among all institutions is being strengthened to speed up the operations. The Commissioner instructed that a complete database be prepared for all illegal immigrants and those on the CCC list to facilitate further action.

Commissioner Quetta Division Shahzeb Khan Kakar also directed that operations should continue daily and that measures be taken against the bank accounts of illegal residents.
