BULANDSHAHR: A college student was gang-raped by eleven men in a secluded area of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, after going out on a date with her friend.
According to local reports, the victim, Gayatri, left for college and went on a date with her friend, Mayank.
Mayank took Gayatri on his motorcycle to an isolated location where the two sat down to talk.
During this time, several men from nearby villages gathered at the spot and began intimidating and threatening the couple.
The group assaulted Mayank and forced him to flee the scene. Following this, eleven men repeatedly raped Gayatri.
After her condition became highly critical, the perpetrators abandoned her at the site and fled.
A local villager spotted the severely injured victim and alerted the police.
Law enforcement officials rushed to the scene and transported Gayatri to a hospital.
Medical examinations confirmed that she was subjected to a brutal sexual assault. In her initial statement to the authorities, Gayatri confirmed that more than ten men were involved in the crime.
Her parents have been informed of the incident.
Meanwhile, police recovered Mayank from his residence in an injured condition.
A formal case has been registered based on the medical reports and statements of both victims, and an investigation is underway to apprehend the perpetrators.
