QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the killing of unarmed and innocent labourers in Mashkeel, describing the attack as a heinous act of terrorism.
In a statement, Bugti said the victims were not just labourers from Punjab but Pakistani citizens, hardworking individuals, and “our own brothers.”
He said the attack was not directed at a single province or ethnic group, but was an assault on Pakistan’s unity, Constitution, and the authority of the state.
The chief minister stated that militants hiding behind the guise of a so-called freedom movement had exposed their true intentions by targeting unarmed civilians.
He added that their objective was not to fight for any legitimate cause but to spread terror, hatred, bloodshed, and destabilize Pakistan.
Bugti vowed that anti-state elements and their facilitators would not be spared, stressing that every drop of innocent Pakistani blood would be accounted for.
He further said all those involved in terrorism would be brought to justice and that action against anyone challenging the writ of the state would become even more decisive.
Reaffirming the government’s resolve, the chief minister said Pakistan has never bowed to terrorism and never will, adding that the fight against terrorism will continue with full force until the last terrorist is eliminated.
