Chief Secretary orders an early completion of the projects

QUETTA: A conference of Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan.

Addressing the participants, he emphasized that government employees must work tirelessly for public service.

He stated that serving the people and promoting their welfare should be the foremost responsibility of every individual and institution.

The Chief Secretary directed the officials to adopt public service as their guiding principle and to ensure transparent and effective governance for the lasting resolution of public issues.

Shakeel Qadir Khan highlighted that government projects and policies are designed to improve the quality of life for every citizen.

He informed that under recent government initiatives, temporary appointments have been made in the education and health departments, which are expected to significantly enhance institutional performance.

He also instructed the officials to promptly fill the remaining vacant positions in the education department on a temporary basis as part of the third phase of recruitment.

The Chief Secretary further stressed the importance of strict monitoring to ensure the availability of essential goods at government-approved rates so that consumers can access quality and affordable products.

He directed that hospitals must receive timely and complete supplies of medicines to ensure smooth healthcare services.

He instructed the district administrations to continue holding open courts to address citizens’ issues promptly.

Shakeel Qadir Khan also mentioned that the provincial government has imposed a ban on plastic bags to protect the environment.

Additionally, he directed for expediting the repatriation process of illegal immigrants.

It is worth mentioning that the Balochistan govermnent has launched several development projects in the province ensuring the overall progression and the enhancement the standards of lives of the people.

Some exceptional efforts are carried out in the field of education, health, road infrastructure, training and vocational education, trade, water supply mechanism and several other sectors.
