HARARE: Brendan Taylor breaks Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the longest career in One-Day International cricket, with the veteran Zimbabwean batter reaching the milestone after taking the field against Australia.
According to reports, Taylor has now completed 22 years and four months in ODI cricket, surpassing the previous record held by Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar, whose ODI career spanned 22 years and three months.
The achievement marks another major milestone in Taylor’s long international career and places him in the record books alongside some of the most celebrated players in cricket history.
