WANA: The security forces successfully foiled a potential terrorist attack after recovering and defusing a locally-made explosive device from a supermarket in Wana Bazaar.
As per the security forces, a sack filled with explosives was discovered inside the busy marketplace, which is one of the main commercial areas in the region.
The device was planted with the intent to target civilians and spread panic among the local population.
The BDS team confirmed the presence of explosives inside the sack. The team safely removed the device from the supermarket and later defused it at a secure location.
