QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has welcomed the recent agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
The governor said that the protection of peace and national interests requires strong defence capabilities, adding that aggression cannot succeed as long as brotherly Islamic countries maintain strong and effective defence systems.
He said the agreement reached between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye was a significant and historic development that would further strengthen cooperation among the three countries. According to him, the agreement would help promote security, brotherhood and unity among the participating states and contribute to greater stability in the region.
Governor Mandokhail said the agreement should not be viewed merely as a defence arrangement between three countries.
In this regard, it represents a broader commitment to mutual support, strategic cooperation and collective security.
He observed that the agreement comes at a time when the world is witnessing major geopolitical changes and growing security challenges.
In this context, stronger cooperation among Muslim countries can play an important role in protecting their people, strengthening regional stability and responding effectively to emerging threats.
The governor expressed hope that the new framework would open new avenues for cooperation between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye in the fields of defence, security, economic partnership and strategic relations.
He said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Saudi Arabia and Türkiye and has consistently supported closer cooperation among brotherly countries.
The new agreement, he added, would provide further momentum to these longstanding relations.
Mandokhail further noted that Pakistan has played a key role in promoting peace and stability in the region and has always supported initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation among friendly and brotherly states.
He expressed confidence that the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia-Türkiye agreement would contribute to peace, security and stability and would help establish a stronger framework for mutual cooperation.
The governor said the agreement would also strengthen Pakistan’s strategic position and reinforce its commitment to regional peace and collective security.
He reasserted that increased cooperation among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye would serve the wider interests of the region and contribute to greater stability in the Muslim world.
