Balochistan CS orders On-Time completion of development schemes

QUETTA : Balochistan Chief Secretary CS Shakeel Qadir Khan has reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to improving public welfare and establishing good governance as its top priority. He stated that all concerned institutions are working together to bring positive changes to the lives of the people.

The CS  made these remarks while addressing a conference of Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners. He emphasized that the government is striving to ensure that every individual has access to basic facilities such as education, health, and clean water.

To translate these goals into action, Shakeel Qadir Khan outlined several key directives.

A strict monitoring system for food prices has been established. Deputy Commissioners must make regular market visits to ensure the sale of items at official rates and protect the poor and middle class from inflation.

All Deputy Commissioners must activate their official social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to effectively advertise development work, public awareness programs, and government services.

The provincial government’s ban on plastic bags is being effectively implemented at various locations to promote a clean and healthy environment.

Directed the immediate payment of salaries to temporarily posted teachers and doctors and the advertisement of vacant posts for the third phase.

Directed all Deputy Commissioners to cooperate with NADRA to ensure birth registration, which is vital for legal identity and accurate national planning.

Emphasized the urgent need to promote a cashless economy for national development. Deputy Commissioners have been asked to introduce mobile banking, online payments, and credit/debit cards in shopping malls and stores within their respective districts. This aligns with the federal government’s broader policy to digitize Pakistan’s economy .
