Quetta – A meeting of the Balochistan Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee was held, during which it was revealed that flats reserved for Grade-19 officers had been allotted to Grade-16 employees.
The committee further disclosed that in some cases, two adjacent houses were allotted individually to the same employees. The committee has demanded a complete record of housing allotments within two weeks.
The Standing Committee also highlighted those 19 tehsildars in the province are working as Assistant Commissioners, while officers on OSD status are being ignored.
Additionally, details of vehicles being used under Balochistan House Islamabad and its sources of income were also sought during the session.
