ISLAMABAD: Australian star spinner Adam Zampa, who recently joined Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has disclosed that he was not being paid according to his skills in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In an interview with a local sports platform, Zampa explained that the IPL takes up a lot of time and he was not receiving fair compensation for his expertise, which made continuing with the league an unsuitable decision for him.
He added that after leaving the IPL, he initially planned to take a break from cricket.
However, he suddenly got the opportunity to play in the PSL, which he accepted.
Everything happened quickly, and he is thoroughly enjoying his time in the tournament.
Zampa has impressed with his performances for Karachi Kings and has also praised the standard of the PSL.
Speaking about Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi, Zampa said he is a brilliant bowler and every ball he delivers gives the feeling that something special is about to happen.
