ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan expressed sorrow over the helicopter crash of the Pakistan Army, which claimed the lives of several officers including Pilot Major Atif and Co-Pilot Major Faisal.
The minister paid a tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs who got martyrdom in the line of duty. He said the nation would always remember their dedication, courage, and commitment to serve the country in its hour of need.
In this regard, Abdul Aleem Khan mentioned that the officers and crew onboard the ill-fated helicopter were engaged in humanitarian operations to provide relief to flood-affected areas.
In this sense, the minister also shared his sentiments on social media, noting that the fallen heroes not only served as defenders of the nation but also as guardians of its people during natural calamities.
He said the spirit with which they rendered their services would continue to inspire generations to come. So far, Abdul Aleem Khan reasserted his solidarity with the bereaved families, acknowledging the immense pain of their loss.
