CM Balochistan strongly condemns terrorist attack on samand checkpost

QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on the Levies checkpost in Samand, Khuzdar, calling it a cowardly attempt to disrupt peace and stability in the province.

In this sense, CM Bugti termed the attack as a “heinous conspiracy aimed at destabilizing the region and demoralizing the security forces”.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister asserted the provincial government’s swift resolve to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan and assured that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain.

In such a scenario, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a proscribed terrorist organization declared outlawed by the government and international bodies including the United Nations, is reportedly behind this and several other recent attacks across the province.

However, CM Bugti also focused on the Balochistan government, with full support from the federal authorities, which will intensify its operations against such elements to ensure lasting peace in the province.
