QUETTA: At least four security personnel were martyred when unknown gunmen attacked the Levies check post in Tehsil Nal of Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
According to the police, several gunmen attacked the Samand check post located in Tehsil Nal of Khuzdar in the darkness of the night, four personnel were martyred on the spot as a result attackers’ gunfire.
Police officials confirmed that the personnel martyred in the attack have been identified as Maqbool, Khuda Bakhsh, Ijaz Ahmed and Muhammad Ali. The bodies of the martyred personnel are being shifted to a nearby hospital.
The attack was carried out on the Levies Force check post located on the CPEC Road, while the brave Levies Force personnel bravely resisted the attack. As soon as the information about the incident was received, a heavy contingent of security forces left for the scene, Levies told local media.

The forces have cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation after the incident.
