CM Bugti urges Baloch intellectuals to guide youth away from extremism

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has urged the Baloch intellectuals to learn from history and guide the young generations in the right direction.

CM Bugti said that Baloch intellectuals need to educate the youth about the activities of banned organizations and its destruction in the Balochistan. He emphasized the need to review whether the so-called “freedom struggle” has yielded progress or create more problems for the people of Balochistan.

While addressing the Balochistan High Court Bar Association, CM Bugti said that Pakistan has faced many conspiracies and dream of foreign countries especially India of dividing it will not be fulfilled as the nation is united under one flag.

CM appreciated the brave Pakistan’s brave forces for standing firmly to defend the motherland from any harm, adding that schools, colleges, and courts are functioning in Quetta while terrorists have been wiped out this is the success of our state and armed forces.

CM Bugti condemned the banned organization like BLA for choosing the path of violence for their so called “freedom struggle” and targeting the innocent people of Baloch people and state institutions.

CM also criticized the BYC events held in the province where Pakistan’s flag is burned and songs of ‘freedom’ are played. He questioned the lawyers for defending such actions of these so-called activists, adding that it’s regrettable that lawyers defend such elements, is it constitutional to represent terrorists?

Regarding the foreign agencies involvement in Balochistan, CM said that Afghanistan’s soil has been used against Pakistan. Mossad, RAW, and other agencies have incited unrest here, even using some of our own intellectuals.
