QUETTA: Credible sources reveal that the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) failed to execute an alleged plan orchestrated by India during last month’s heightened tensions with Pakistan. According to a report shared on X (formerly Twitter), India had devised a strategy involving the BLA, aiming to provoke chaos on Pakistan’s western border simultaneously with aggression on the eastern front and Line of Control (LoC).
The plan reportedly intended to engage Pakistan’s armed forces on both borders at once.
However, the plot did not materialize as expected. The BLA failed to gain local support in Balochistan and could not carry out the planned attacks, undermining the entire operation.
Despite heavy funding, India’s attempts to incite unrest through the BLA have not yielded results. Internal divisions within the BLA over resources and leadership, along with growing public awareness in Balochistan, have further weakened the group’s influence.
Pakistan continues to push forward with significant development initiatives in the province.
