RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has said that, Alhamdulillah, ‘Operation Bunyaan al Marsoos’ is a strong response to India.
The Pakistan Armed Forces have fulfilled what they promised. Allah has assured that if you are on the side of truth, even a small army can prevail over a larger one.
Speaking at a ceremony on Monday, General Asim Munir stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces and the nation stood united like a solid wall. He said Pakistan had repeatedly warned India not to mistake its desire for peace as a sign of weakness. Pakistan possesses full defensive capabilities to safeguard its regional integrity and sovereignty.
He added that both the Army Chief and the DG ISPR had clearly stated that any aggression would be met with a forceful response. “We fully understand how to defend our national integrity,” he said. “India, with its 1.3 million army and all its weapons, cannot threaten or intimidate us.”
The Army Chief said ‘Operation Bunyaan al Marsoos’ is the fulfillment of a promise made to the nation. He recited verses from the Qur’an and said that true success and victory come only from Allah. “If Allah’s support is with you, even a smaller force can defeat a larger one,” he concluded.
