ISLAMABAD: Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has had an important meeting with the minister of foreign affairs of Saudi Arabia Adil Al Jubair in Islamabad.
The Saudi minister had reached Pakistan in the afternoon after his visit to India.
The prime minister briefed the Saudi minister about the hostility practiced by India on the civilians’ territories of Pakistan.
The Prime minister affirmed Pakistan’s resolute to take all measures to ensure the sovereignty of Pakistan.
The Saudi minister Adil Al Jubair stressed on the behalf of his government that both India and Pakistan should avoid confrontation and take all necessary measures to reduce the strain between the both countries.
In a high-level briefing to the international media, DG ISPR laid bare India’s aggressive actions and misinformation campaign against Pakistan.
The heads of Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy were also present. Detailing the Pahalgam incident, he said the attack occurred at 2:20 PM, with an FIR registered just ten minutes later.
Despite the nearest police station being 30 minutes away, Indian authorities allegedly reached, investigated, and blamed Pakistan—all within ten minutes.
This raised serious questions about the credibility of India’s claims, with Kashmiri locals asking where the 700,000-strong Indian Army was during the incident.
Pakistan offered India a credible, third-party investigation, rejecting India’s attempt to act as judge, jury, and executioner.
DG ISPR stated that India is deflecting attention from its own political failures and internal unrest. He recalled how India has previously fabricated stories for political mileage—such as the killing of Sikhs during President Clinton’s visit, and staging the Pulwama attack.
He cited a retired Indian Lt. General who confessed to killing Kashmiris to blame Pakistan.
He condemned India’s renewed targeting of innocent Kashmiris, stating they are abducted, tortured, and falsely declared as terrorists.
He reiterated that Pakistan would defend its sovereignty at all costs. The briefing included audio evidence of Kulbhushan Yadav’s confession and proof of India tasking agents to commit terrorist attacks inside Pakistan.
