ISLAMABAD: Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir, has arrived in Pakistan following his recent visit to India. During his stay, he is scheduled to meet with Pakistan’s top leadership and discuss the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.
His visit comes at a critical time as relations between the two neighbors have sharply deteriorated. India recently launched missile and drone attacks on Pakistani urban areas, prompting Pakistan’s air defense to intercept and destroy 77 drones. In response, India has made unsubstantiated claims that Pakistan targeted military sites in Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir.
The Saudi diplomat’s presence highlights the Kingdom’s interest in promoting dialogue and regional stability.
Meanwhile Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has firmly stated that India cannot be allowed to act as judge, jury, and executioner by using the Pahalgam incident as a pretext for aggression.
Speaking to Turkish media, DG ISPR said that Indian forces have been deliberately targeting civilian populations across the Line of Control (LoC) through unprovoked firing and shelling.
He clarified that the Pakistan Army has only responded to fire from specific Indian posts using small arms and has not initiated any drone, rocket, or air attacks.
He dismissed Indian claims of Pakistani aerial aggression as baseless and fictitious, adding that in modern warfare, every strike leaves behind electronic evidence — something India has failed to provide.
He further questioned India’s narrative by asking where the wreckage or evidence is if Indian forces indeed downed Pakistani aircraft or captured pilots.

DG ISPR stated that India has silenced international media to control the narrative, while its own media continues to churn out imaginary and ridiculous stories. “When the time comes, our response will speak for itself — we don’t need Indian media to interpret it,” he said.
