ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s security sources have categorically denied Indian media reports claiming explosions in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to the sources, the news circulated by Indian outlets regarding alleged attacks on Kashmir is entirely false and baseless. Officials stated that Indian media is deliberately spreading misinformation to mislead the public and escalate tensions.
Earlier, MIndian media reported that loud explosions were heard in multiple areas of Jammu, a claim now dismissed by Pakistan as propaganda.eanwhile, in a joint press briefing, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, alongside DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif, firmly rejected India’s allegations of Pakistani strikes on Indian Punjab’s civilian areas.
The officials clarified that while India launched missile and drone attacks on Pakistan’s urban centers and military installations in Lahore, Pakistan exercised restraint and did not target any civilian locations.
DG ISPR denounced India’s claims as fabricated, pointing out that some of India’s own projectiles landed within its territory, likely part of a disinformation strategy
