Air defense system shoots down Indian drone over Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Pakistan shot down another India drone in the Cantt area of Gujranwala district, on Thursday morning.

The local news channel express reported that two explosions were heard in city, after which the air defense system was activated and targeted and shot down an Indian drone.

The news channel quoted the military sources that these sounds were heard when an Indian drone tried to enter Pakistani territory while flying at a very high altitude, which was shot down by the Gujranwala Cantt air defense system in an immediate action.

The Indian drone was flying very high near Gujranwala Cantt when the air defense system was activated and the drone was shot down in two shots fired by the air defense system.

On receiving information about the debris of the drone, law enforcement agencies including the police reached the spot and the debris of the drone was seized from the fields of village Pir Jhand, which is being further investigated to find out what kind of drone it was. However, there is no report of any casualty.
