Prime Minister hails armed forces’ brilliant response

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing a joint session of Parliament, paid rich tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces for their timely and decisive response to India’s hostile actions.

“I congratulate the Speaker, Members of Parliament, and all political parties. Our brave armed forces responded brilliantly to India’s aggression, turning the dark night into a moonlit one with their courage,” he declared.

The Prime Minister stated that India launched attacks under the cover of the recent Pahalgam incident, yet an FIR was mysteriously registered only ten minutes after the event.

He recalled that while he was in Ankara, he had received news of the Pahalgam incident.

“We immediately demanded a transparent and credible investigation, and expressed full cooperation with any international commission.

But India rigidly mocked the demand,” he added. He reiterated that groups like BLA and TTP are directly linked to India and said Pakistan has already provided solid evidence of this involvement.

Prime Minister hails armed forces' brilliant response When the enemy aircraft entered our skies, they were met with a fierce response and were drowned in the sea of our resistance,” he said.

The Prime Minister detailed that approximately 80 Indian aircraft attacked six Pakistani cities — four in Punjab and two in Kashmir — including Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, and AJK. He praised the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for not only defending the country’s airspace but also taking down five enemy aircraft, including three Rafales. One Indian aircraft was confirmed destroyed in Bhatinda.

He emphasized that the enemy was forced to retreat, with many aircraft fleeing back and landing in occupied Kashmir without achieving any objectives. “Our eagles soared through the skies and proved yet again that Pakistan’s defense is impenetrable,” he said.
