QUETTA: Provincial Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs, Meena Majeed Baloch, said the “She Power” project is more than a health initiative. It is a platform that turns the dreams of Balochistan’s daughters into reality. She made these remarks at the project’s closing ceremony.
She said girls in rural areas lack basic facilities. The project helps improve their health, education, and confidence. She said that her government has recognised the importance of women in the technological world now and equipped them with skills and strength.
The Government of Balochistan launched this initiative with support from the Chinese government. It falls under the CPEC framework. Millions of health kits were distributed through the project.
She praised Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti for supporting gender equality. She said his leadership has brought major steps for women’s education, jobs, and welfare.
The initiative is being appraised by the locals and participants of the event.
“Gender equality begins with opportunity—this project is a step in the right direction,” said Baloch Bastion.
Amana Marri, while responding to the initiative, said that ‘She Power’ is more than a project, it’s a movement empowering Balochistan’s daughters with dignity, education, and opportunity. True progress begins with women.
At the end of the event, officials received shields and laptops for their excellent work.
