General Asim Munir vows full retaliation against ay Indian provocation

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has stated that any misadventure by India will be met with a full and resolute response.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief made these remarks during his visit to the Tilla Field Firing Range, where he witnessed the “Hammer Strike” exercise conducted by the Mangla Strike Corps of the Pakistan Army.

Addressing the troops, General Munir reaffirmed the unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces to uphold national sovereignty and ensure regional security.

He also commended the officers and soldiers for their courage, professionalism, and determination during the exercises.

The military drills are taking place against the backdrop of rising tensions following the Pahalgam attack.

India has accused Pakistan of involvement in the incident, claims that Pakistan has categorically denied them.

In response, Pakistan has demanded credible evidence to support the allegations and has offered to facilitate a transparent, impartial, and credible investigation into the matter.

However, instead of engaging constructively, India has escalated the situation through aggressive rhetoric and provocative actions.

The Indian government, backed by its media and political allies, has intensified a campaign of blame, further inflaming tensions between the two countries.

India has reportedly begun clearing border areas, deporting Pakistani nationals, and imposing a media blackout on Pakistani television and social media platforms.

In addition, India has banned the use of its airspace for Pakistani flights. In contrast, Pakistan maintains that it will not initiate any hostilities but will deliver a strong and decisive response if provoked.
