Pakistan Hosts Elite Military Challenge with 20 Nations at NCTC Pabbi

The 8th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit Exercise-2025 kicked off with a dynamic opening ceremony at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) Pabbi, bringing together military teams and observers from around the world.

The Director General Military Training officially inaugurated the 60-hour-long patrolling exercise, designed to boost military-to-military cooperation amid a rapidly evolving global security landscape.

This year, 20 friendly countries are taking part, including military contingents from Pakistan, China, USA, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Belarus, Bahrain, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Morocco, Uzbekistan, and Nepal. Military observers from Germany, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Kenya, South Africa, Myanmar, and Thailand are also in attendance.

The annual Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) exercise is known for its intense, mission-specific challenges, demanding exceptional physical endurance, mental agility, and tactical military expertise. It simulates real-world scenarios requiring rapid decision-making under pressure, reflecting the complexities of modern warfare.

The multinational presence underscores Pakistan Army’s commitment to fostering international defence cooperation and advancing counter-terrorism preparedness on a global scale.
