CHAMAN: A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck near Chaman in Balochistan on Wednesday, causing panic among residents, according to the earthquake monitoring centre.
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 12 kilometres, the centre said.
Tremors were felt in Chaman and surrounding areas.
Residents left homes and shops after the tremors were felt. Some moved to open areas as a precaution.
The epicentre was located near Chaman, according to the earthquake monitoring centre.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage, according to initial information.
