Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has confirmed its commitment to protecting the country’s airspace and national sovereignty, with Air Vice Marshal Hassan Faisal saying the force has consistently stood by the nation during difficult times.
Speaking at a ceremony held at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Faisal said Pakistan’s airspace was in “strong hands” and that the PAF remained committed to fulfilling the expectations of the nation.
The senior PAF official said the force had always played its role in defending the country and providing services whenever Pakistan faced challenging circumstances. He mentioned the importance of maintaining a strong and capable air defence system to safeguard the country’s territorial integrity.
His remarks came during a ceremony held at Mazar-e-Quaid on the occasion of Defence Day and Martyrs’ Day of Pakistan, where national sacrifices and the services of the armed forces were commemorated.
Response to Last Year’s Indian Aggression
Air Vice Marshal Hassan Faisal said the Pakistan Air Force had given a strong response to Indian aggression last year. He also credited the leadership of the Chief of Air Staff for strengthening Pakistan’s defence capabilities through modern systems and improved operational preparedness.
According to him, the continued development of advanced defence systems has contributed to strengthening the country’s ability to protect its airspace.
The PAF official also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the service of the country. He said their contributions would continue to be remembered and honoured.
The ceremony at Mazar-e-Quaid served as an occasion to reaffirm national commitment to remembering those who had made sacrifices for Pakistan’s security and sovereignty.
Air Vice Marshal Hassan Faisal said Pakistan remained committed to peace but would not compromise on its sovereignty.
The statement comes as Pakistan continues to emphasise the importance of maintaining effective defence capabilities while advocating peace and stability in the region.
