QUETTA: Security forces in Balochistan launched comprehensive anti-terrorist operations with increased tempo over a 24-hour window, conducting multiple intelligence-based operations across Mastung, Quetta, Kalat, and Sibi districts against the Indian proxies Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij, successfully sending 36 Indian-sponsored terrorists to hell.
On September 4, 2026, an operation in Mastung identified and engaged a terrorist movement, resulting in an intense fire exchange that killed six terrorists alongside destroying an on-site cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices.
In another engagement within the general area of Shaban, Quetta district, troops identified four Khwarij hideouts and neutralized 26 Khwarij following a fierce firefight.
Furthermore, an intelligence-based raid in Kalat eliminated two Indian-sponsored terrorists, while a swift response by security forces in conjunction with the local population in the Bhag area of Sibi district foiled an attempt to raid a police station, neutralizing two additional terrorists.
Across a broader 48 to 72-hour timeframe, a total of 48 terrorists belonging to these hostile proxies have been neutralized across the province.
Sanitization operations are currently underway to clear the area of any remaining elements.
Officials reiterated that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”—approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan—will continue at full pace by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan to completely eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
