RAWALPINDI: The special ceremony was held at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi to mark the 104th anniversary of Türkiye’s Victory Day.
In this regard, as per the ISPR, Turkish Ambassador Irfan Naziroğlu attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Senior officers of the Pakistan Army, officials from the Turkish Embassy and other distinguished guests were also present.
The event provided an opportunity to reaffirm the strong bonds between the two countries, which have traditionally been based on mutual respect, shared values and steadfast support.
During the ceremony, tribute was paid to the courage and sacrifices of the Turkish Armed Forces. The occasion also highlighted the longstanding defence partnership between Pakistan and Türkiye.
According to ISPR, the participants reiterated their commitment to further strengthening defence cooperation and bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
Pakistan and Türkiye have maintained close relations for decades, with defence cooperation remaining an important component of their bilateral partnership.
The song features Pakistani artists performing in both Urdu and Turkish.
The initiative presented the relationship between Pakistan and Türkiye through a cultural and artistic expression, complementing the diplomatic and defence dimensions of their longstanding partnership.
“Two Hearts, One Soul” incorporates the sounds of several traditional instruments, including the rabab, Türkiye’s traditional bağlama, and darbuka.
The music was produced by Ali Mustafa, while the composition was arranged by Kamran Ullah Khan and Samia Gohar. The song was performed by Usman Rais and Dr Mubashra Hafeez.
A notable feature of the production is that all the singers and artists involved are Pakistani, despite the song incorporating both Urdu and Turkish languages.

The song seeks to highlight the cultural similarities and shared values that have contributed to the enduring relationship between the two countries.
The GHQ ceremony and the release of the special song together underscored Pakistan’s commitment to its close friendship with Türkiye.
The celebrations reflected the two countries’ longstanding ties and their continued desire to strengthen cooperation across defence, diplomacy and cultural engagement.
The 104th Victory Day commemoration thus served not only as a tribute to Türkiye’s military history and sacrifices but also as another expression of the enduring bond between the people of Pakistan and Türkiye.
