RAWALPINDI: Three Family member lost their lives in a Kalat Syedan Tragedy. A tragic incident unfolded in the rural outskirts of Kalar Syedan near Rawalpindi, where a mother, her son, and her daughter lost their lives in a local water reservoir while attempting a rescue.
The heart-wrenching event occurred in the village of Tarkhi.
Eight-year-old Sabih-ul-Hassan was watering livestock near the dam when he accidentally lost his footing and plunged into the deep water.
In a desperate bid to save the young boy, his 46-year-old mother, Benish, and 9-year-old sister, Arooj, immediately jumped into the dam.
Local rescue teams rushed to the site and managed to recover the mother and daughter, transferring them to a nearby hospital.
Despite medical efforts, both succumbed to their injuries.
The body of the young boy was subsequently retrieved from the water by rescue divers.
