ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has stressed the importance of scientific and fact-based thinking among young people, while a delegation of international students from Harvard Business School praised the warmth and hospitality of the Pakistani people and acknowledged the country’s vast potential.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Hilal-e-Jurat, met a delegation of students from Harvard Business School representing different countries during their visit to Pakistan.
During the meeting, the participants discussed regional and global developments, Pakistan’s security perspective, and efforts to promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.
Speaking on the occasion, Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasised that, in a rapidly changing and volatile world increasingly influenced by social media and propaganda, it was essential for young people to focus on education, skills development, entrepreneurship and fact-based analysis.
He said adopting these approaches would enable young people to play a positive and effective role in society and contribute meaningfully to addressing emerging challenges.
Meanwhile, the Harvard Business School students shared their positive experiences during their ongoing visit to Pakistan.
In particular, they praised the warmth, openness and hospitality extended to them by the Pakistani people.
The students also acknowledged Pakistan’s immense potential and described the country as having significant opportunities for growth and development.
