ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Navy has conducted a major exercise named KARRAR to test its capabilities across multiple dimensions of modern warfare.
A video of the exercise circulating online shows special operations force personnel of the Pakistan Navy taking part in a range of operational scenarios. These include intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), drone warfare, sniper operations, hostage rescue and counterterrorism missions.
The exercise also featured special operations, close-quarter battle (CQB) and search-and-rescue operations.

The exercise was conducted by the Pakistan Navy’s Special Services Group (Navy), known as SSG(N), and focused on complex, multi-domain operations.
The drills demonstrated the force’s ability to respond rapidly to a range of security threats, while protecting Pakistan’s maritime interests in the region.
The exercise also highlighted the Navy’s focus on integrating different operational capabilities to address evolving security challenges.
