ISLAMABAD: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) have launched the Tree Plantation Campaign 2026 in Islamabad.
Young people, women and people from different walks of life took part in the campaign. Students from various schools and participants of the ISPR internship programme also joined the drive.
Participants praised the joint initiative by ISPR and DHA. They said the monsoon plantation campaign would help increase green cover and protect the environment.
They stressed that climate change has become a major challenge for Pakistan and the world. They called for planting more trees to help address its impact.
Participants said the plantation campaign by ISPR and DHA marks an important step towards building a greener and more resilient Pakistan.
