RIYADH: A massive fire at a sofa factory in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, resulted in the tragic deaths of 16 Bangladeshi citizens.
According to Turkish media, the fire suddenly broke out in the factory and engulfed the entire building in a short time. However, the cause of the fire remains unknown.
The Bangladeshi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it is in contact with the Saudi government to repatriate the bodies of the deceased. Notably, over 3.5 million Bangladeshi nationals reside in Saudi Arabia.
