MUMBAI: Veteran Indian actor Pradeep Rawat has passed away at the age of 74 after a battle with cancer.
According to media reports confirmed by his manager, the actor had been undergoing treatment in the hospital for over a month before passing away a few hours prior.
Starting his film career in 1985, Rawat gained widespread recognition and fame for his powerful villainous roles across numerous films.
He shared screen space with several legendary Bollywood actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Raj Babbar, and Vinod Khanna.
He achieved notable acclaim for his memorable performances alongside Aamir Khan in blockbuster hits such as Lagaan and Ghajini, and built a versatile career spanning Hindi cinema as well as films and television series in various other regional languages.
